Blog Submission Rules

All submissions must be the original work of a child ages 4-14. Parents may help a child with their submission, however the entry should be in a child's own words or drawn by a child's hand. Anyone (parent or child) who submits entries to the Rainbow Roar blog understands and agrees that entries may appear, all or in part, on the Rainbow Roar blog site for an undetermined length of time. The administrator of the Rainbow Roar blog retains the right to edit or delete any and all inappropriate content from submissions, and may refuse posting material on the website based on its sole discretion. Any entries submitted in a format other than those designated may not be posted as determined by Rainbow Reach / Rainbow Roar. No confidential information, or information that infringes upon the proprietary, privacy or personal rights of others shall be submitted. Do not submit email or attachments containing software viruses or other computer code or files designed to interrupt, harm, delete, or otherwise interfere with or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment. Rainbow Roar / Rainbow Reach will be held harmless from any claim or demand made by any party due to or arising from the use of material posted on this blog, or the violation of any rights of another. Use of materials posted on this blog by anyone other than Rainbow Reach / Rainbow Roar or the original author is not permitted under any circumstance.

By sending materials to Rainbow Reach / Rainbow Roar or to admin@rainbowroar.com, Rainbow Reach / Rainbow Roar is granted permission to use, reproduce, publish or distribute submissions at its sole discretion, including incorporating it in other works in any media now known or later developed, including published books, without payment to the author of any submission. If you do not wish to grant Rainbow Reach / Rainbow Roar these rights, it must be clearly indicated along with materials submitted.

Rainbow Roar Blog Security

Because the Rainbow Roar blog is built especially for children, an extra layer of security has been added to the site. This site is scanned daily by a Website Protection Scanner to be sure that:
• threats and vulnerabilities are identified before they can be exploited;
• the site is secure against malware, spyware, phishing attacks, and more; and
• avenues that hackers use to compromise site security and steal visitor information are closed down.
